Why I’m Finally Embracing My Natural Hair

From about the age of 13/14 i’ve straightened my hair, it started off with just my fringe … cool I know and then I wanted my entire wig to be sleek and straight. My natural hair is curly and I don’t mean like waves here and there, I mean full on original, ginger Annie curls … if you know, you know!

I literally HATED my hair, the amount of times i’ve looked at another girls hair and wished I had hair like theirs is unmeasurable, believe me, hair envy is real. I remember being little and grown ups would be like “you have such beautiful hair” and “look at those curls” but all I wanted was to have straight hair. I got my mam to straighten it with the iron when I was about 16, yes the iron, i’m old now okay this was ten years ago.

Let’s Talk: Life Update Part 2

Hey everyone, so I thought this week’s post would just be a little chatty one letting you all know where I am right now in life and what’s been going on since my last update post in July … I know, I can’t believe it’s been three months, where has the year gone?

I love doing these type of chats with you guys, mainly because I don’t have to think that hard but also because I love reading these kind of posts from other bloggers and find them rather therapeutic, is that weird?

Mustard Cravings

That’s right you guessed it, i’m pregnant and totally craving mustard on everything … most definitely not! Sorry to disappoint guys but you won’t be seeing me with a baby anytime soon.

This post is completely fashion related, I just wanted to share with you all my new obsession for anything mustard coloured or yellow. Honestly the whole mustard range is kinda new to me, i’ve never really gone for clothes with that much colour, i’m much more of a black, grey, white sort of scheme … or should I say I was!

The Body Shop Mango Range

For today’s blog post I wanted to tell you all about a lil range from The Body Shop that honestly, i’ve been absolutely obsessed with, I mean I just can’t get enough. I’m sure you can tell from the title that i’m talking about some of their mango scented products and i’m just here to rave about them because … delicious.

Lounge Underwear

I’m gonna keep it real here, I just love me some sexy underwear! I mean there’s nothing better than feeling like you’re frickin Beyonce and looking like a million bucks. Now honest time, i’d never heard of Lounge Underwear until a few weeks ago when I watched Jordan Lipscomb’s video where she did a lingerie haul showing off some of their pieces … not gonna lie as soon as I saw their stuff I was like ‘right get me on that site pronto’.

I’ve never been one to splash the cash on lingerie, usually I buy my stuff from the likes of Primark, New Look and on occasion Ann Summers but guys, I couldn’t help myself because Lounge have some stu…ning sets and I knew my life would not be complete without something from their site (over exaggeration but you know).

Skincare is literally one of my favourite things when it comes to the beauty/self-maintenance world, hands down one of my ultimate dreams in life would be to have my own skincare range … dream big right?

When it comes to makeup I am all about making sure my foundation is flawless, i’m a strong believer that your base makeup either makes or breaks the end result because if that foundations not right, you can bet your bottom dolla that everything else is gonna go tits up … in my experience anyway.

I’ve said this before but I’ll say it again for you people in the back, foundation is the one makeup product that I don’t mind splurging on and spending a little extra because when it looks good I just feel so much more confident, and in the words of my girl Demi Lovato, ‘what’s wrong with being confident?’
