90’s Cartoons Inspired Make Up Looks

Hey guys, I hope you’re all safe and well!

Recently over on my instagram I’ve been uploading a few make up looks and just getting a bit creative using cartoons from my childhood as inspiration. I’ve bloody loved doing these so much, they’ve just taken me back to being a kid and not gonna lie, I kinda wish I could just sit and re watch them over and over again.

Anyway I thought I would share a couple of the looks with you on here to see what you thought and if you think I should have a go at doing some more! Let me know in the comments.

Taste The Rainbow Eye Look

Here I am coming to you with another makeup/eyeshadow look, I hope you’re not getting bored of me doing these because it’s something that I’m really enjoying doing at the moment. Like I’ve said before, I’m not claiming to be an MUA or even remotely good at makeup but it’s just a lil fun we’re having over here.

For this look I was inspired by Erin Rose who is an insanely talented make up influencer that I follow on Instagram.

Max & More Palette

If you’re from the UK then I’m pretty sure you’re familiar with a shop called Home Bargains, if you’re from anywhere else then I’ll give you a little summery, it’s basically heaven … no I’m joking but it is an amazing shop that sells literally everything you can think of at super cheap prices, their face mask range is amazing.

Anyway, recently I was doing a little shop there and was browsing their make up shelves when I came across a face palette, I’ve tried a few of the lip liners and lip sticks which have been great so thought I’d give it a go. The packaging look similar to a Makeup Revolution one, pretty simple and sleek with the bronze writing and the inside had everything you could think of for your face, blush, highlight, bronzer and powder, so you best believe I popped it in my basket, plus it was like £2 or something along those lines. Don’t get me wrong I don’t expect crazy pigment or durability from it but you never know these days, those cheap brands are really showing off.

Testing Out New Superdrug Makeup

Hey you lovely lot, so today I wanted to share with you guys a few new makeup products that I picked up from Superdrug about two weeks ago. Ain’t gonna lie there’s only like four products here because we all know your girl is broke, but nevertheless I wanted to give you all my opinion on them.

It’s definitely been a minute since I bought myself some new makeup bits and bobs so testing these out has been kind of exciting … I know, I’m a saddo but I’m elderly now so leave me too it!

Tango Ice Blast Look

I know what you must be thinking, “Carolanne, you’ve done a make up look dedicated to the iced beverage that is a Tango Ice Blast?” Don’t worry I haven’t gone completely mad, I just did this look and it reminded me of an ice blast at the end so I decided to call it that … I did used to work in Cineworld many moons ago so I guess you never forget your roots!

I’ve been enjoying doing these make up look posts recently and I hope you guys have too, honestly I’m not even good at it but it’s just a bit of fun for me so please don’t take them too seriously … I know I won’t be getting on any PR lists anytime soon haha. Anyway here is the newest look and of course I will list and link everything I used below.

Mini Primark Haul

So the other day I had to pop into Aberdeen town centre to do some errands … I also just realised I haven’t even updated you guys on the fact that I actually live in Scotland now, I promise I’ll do a post on this soon! Anyway while I was in town I thought I would swing by Primark ‘cos I was on the hunt for a new bag, my current everyday one kind of snapped (that’s what you get for swinging it at your boyfriend … jokingly of course I ain’t no Amber Heard)

Anywho, while I was there I picked up a couple of things that I thought I would share, ain’t gonna lie I could have bought so much, but I’m literally broke right now so can’t be spending. Funnily enough I didn’t buy any items of clothing, it was kind of just bits and bobs that you’re probably not going to care about but imma tell you anyway …

Valentines Day Make Up

With Valentines Day just around the corner I thought I would try and give you guys and gals some make up inspiration. Now you don’t have to be going out with your SO to dress up on Friday the 14th, whether you’re out with your friends, family or just wanna rock a different vibe all together, this look will hopefully serve you well. Sunset Eye Look

Hey everyone, so I recently uploaded a make up look post where I played around with some eyeshadow and it ended up being this Candy Floss type of vibe. Well, I really enjoyed getting back into creating make up looks so thought I would have a go at another! I haven’t done a beauty post in what feels like forever, so I thought I would show you guys a look I created recently and let you know some of the products I used on it. I’m obsessed with creative eyeshadow looks, I must follow hundreds of Instagram accounts just to watch tutorials on how these magicians come up with ideas. Now I’m by far no means any good at this sort of stuff and definitely don’t claim to be, this is just a bit of fun and I thought I would share the finished product and some deets with you all. Quick Tips To Enjoying The Gym
