Like most people I think I’ve got a love/hate relationship with the gym, I love that feeling after a good work out and it definitely helps me mentally, just being able to clear your head and focus on what set you’re doing is refreshing, not to mention I feel amazing when I can see results. The hate part comes from feeling guilty when I haven’t been for a week or if I’ve been overdoing it with the treats … which I definitely do! As much as I do enjoy the gym I sometimes think to myself “Damn, I’m gonna have to do this pretty much all my life to make sure I’m kinda happy with my body” and then my mind swirls into things like how am I going to get my body back after having kids some day but that’s just an example of how dramatic I can be at times.
Anyway, for a while now I’ve wanted to invest in some quality gym clothes from actual work out brands instead of wearing my same old Primark or Vietnam spesh ones … if you know me you know what I mean! So for my birthday this year my wonderful boyfriend surprised me with some different items that honestly I’m in love with, I truly feel ten times more confident in the gym when I’m wearing these new pieces, it’s so crazy how you can tell the difference in quality straight away, I don’t know if I’ll be able to go back to high street store bits, this might be an expensive do.
